Every piece of our coffee or dining table is crafted from a carefully-selected segment of a rainforest tree trunk. With one of the biggest local inventories of suar wood logs to choose from, there is always a slab of wood that speaks to each individual client.
Once a selection is made, we cut out the wood while maintaining the natural live edge of the wood board. We will then meticulously check the selected panel to evaluate its grain, natural curvature and hardness. This evaluation process is done to ensure peace of mind for our clients.
The next step of the customisation process involves selecting your legs of choice. Our wood specialists will also offer tips and suggestions based on your room size, decor and budget. The craftsmen at Art of Suar Wood take immense pride in delivering the best work for our customers.
First and foremost, we produce tables that accentuate the natural beauty of suar wood. With that philosophy in mind, we try to keep each wood slab in its original shape and form throughout the manufacturing process. Unlike most other companies, we keep the edges of our tables intact, a design motif commonly referred to as live edge.
The beauty of a well-crafted live edge table really needs to be fully appreciated in person. And surely what makes a better statement piece than something that is rare and customised to your own personal preference. Well-aged wood logs are becoming increasingly scarce and there are only going to be a limited number of live edge tables that can be produced.
Additionally, live edge requires skilled craftsmanship to bring out their distinctive aesthetic. Our years of experience in the wood industry means that we have honed this process to what we can describe as meticulous artistry.

The entire process from start to finish typically takes about 4-6weeks.
Do you sell outside of Singapore?
We are happy to deliver to international customers outside Singapore and have logistics vendors who are able to advise on the delivery fees and processing time. Feel free to contact us for an estimated quote.
How long is the standard warranty for each piece of Suar Wood furniture?
All our products come with a standard one-year warranty for any manufacturing defects.
